''Blood Money'' is the seventh studio album by American hip hop duo Mobb Deep. Originally scheduled for a March 21, 2006 release, it was released on May 2, 2006 via Infamous Records, G-Unit Records, G-Unit and Interscope Records, making it their only studio album for two of the labels. The recording sessions took place at Bass Clef Studios in Ozone Park, Queens, Ozone Park, at Right Track Recording and Sound on Sound Studios, Sound On Sound in New York City, New York, at LiveWire Remote Recorders in Toronto, at Digital Insight Recording Studios in Las Vegas, at Record Plant, Nate's Crib and Record One in Los Angeles. Mobb Deep was an American Hip-hop, hip hop duo formed in Queens, New York (state), New York in 1990. Aleksander Thomas Manfredi, better known by his stage name Exile, is an American record producer, disc jockey and occasional rapper. Aside from his solo career, he is a member of the musical groups Emanon alongside Aloe Blacc, as well as Blu & Exile. Career Exile's first record appearances were as a member of the hip hop duo Emanon with the rapper Aloe Blacc. They released various mixtapes beginning in 1995 with "Stretch Marx" before releasing their first album, ''Anon & On''.
