Bless You (John Lennon Song)
"Bless You" is a song written by John Lennon that was first released on his 1974 album ''Walls and Bridges''. It is a ballad expressing his love for his wife Yoko Ono, even though they were separated at the time. Alternative versions appeared on the compilation albums ''Menlove Ave.'' and ''John Lennon Anthology'' Writing and recording Lennon wrote "Bless You" quickly, more so than other songs on the album. May Pang
May Fung Yee Pang (born October 24, 1950) is an American former music executive. She worked for John Lennon and Yoko Ono as a personal assistant and production coordinator, and when Lennon and Ono separated in 1973, Pang and Lennon began a relationship that lasted more than 18 months. Lennon later referred to this time as his "Lost Weekend". Pang subsequently produced two books about their relationship—a memoir called ''Loving John'' (Warner, 1983) and a book of photographs, ''Instamatic Karma'' ( St. Martin's Press, 2008). David "Bruce" Spizer (born July 2, 1955) is a tax attorney in New Orleans, Louisiana, who is also recognized as an expert on the Beatles. He has published thirteen books, and is frequently quoted as an authority on the history of the band and its recordings. Biography Spizer was born and raised in New Orleans. He attended Isidore Newman School and then received B.A., M.B.A., and J.D. degrees from Tulane University, where he was a member of honorary societies Phi Beta Kappa and the Order of the Coif. An electric piano is a musical instrument which produces sounds when a performer presses the keys of a piano-style musical keyboard. Pressing keys causes mechanical hammers to strike metal strings, metal reeds or wire tines, leading to vibrations which are converted into electrical signals by magnetic pickups, which are then connected to an instrument amplifier and loudspeaker to make a sound loud enough for the performer and audience to hear.
