Blender (band)
Blender is a Swedish dansband, founded in March 2002 by Lasse Lundberg. Soon, the band became a full-time dansband and since then has played all over Sweden. In 2007 they won the Guldklaven award in the "Album of the Year" and they have also got several other awards. In 2009 the single "Ingen ingenting" was qualified to Sveriges Radio P4's so called B rotation list, which guaranteed it a lot of airplay over the radio each week. On 12 December 2009 the band participated with The Playtones, Titanix, Casanovas and Bhonus in the last of the qualification sets in Dansbandskampen and performed two songs: "Dag efter dag" and " Hold Me Now". Then they also played in the final, but did not win the contest. Hudiksvall
Hudiksvall () is a city and the seat of Hudiksvall Municipality, in Hälsingland, Gävleborg County, Sweden with 15,015 inhabitants in 2010. Hudiksvall is also known as Glada Hudik ( en, Happy Hudik), a term that originated in the 19th century as word spread of its friendly hospitality and its lively social life. The city is located along the E4, on the east coast of Sweden deep inside the bay Hudiksvallsfjärden, about 80 km south of Sundsvall and about 130 km north of Gävle. Dag Efter Dag
"Dag efter dag" (; "Day after day") is a song in Swedish, with melody by Lasse Holm and text by Monica Forsberg. The pop and country group Chips (Kikki Danielsson and Elisabeth Andreassen) won the Swedish Melodifestivalen 1982 with it. Chips, as representatives, finished eighth in the Eurovision Song Contest 1982. On April 18, 1982, the song reached the first place at Svensktoppen, where it stayed for nine rounds. On June 13, 1982, the song was the last to be number one at Svensktoppen, before the program was removed the first time. Chips also recorded the song with lyrics in English, "Day after Day". Charts In 1982, "Dag efter dag" was also released as a single. The single as best reached the 4th place at the Swedish singles chart and 5th place at the Norwegian singles chart. Sverigetopplistan (, lit. "the Sweden top list") is the Swedish national record chart, formerly known as Topplistan (1975–1997) and Hitlistan (1998–2007) and known by its current name since October 2007, based on sales data from the Swedish Recording Industry Association (in Swedish Grammofonleverantörernas förening). Before Topplistan, music sales in Sweden were recorded by Kvällstoppen, whose weekly chart was a combined albums and singles list.
