Blades Of The Tiger
''Blades of the Tiger'' is a fantasy novel set in the Dragonlance setting, based on the ''Dungeons & Dragons'' fantasy role-playing game. This is the first of a trilogy about Taladas; the second book in the trilogy is ''Trail of the Black Wyrm''. ''Blades of the Tiger'' was published in 2005. Chris Pierson
Chris Pierson is an American computer game designer as well as an author of several books in the ''Dragonlance'' saga. He has written many books for the series. Career Chris Pierson was born in Canada. Chris first wanted to write novels for the ''Dragonlance'' saga at the age of 12, which is when he first picked up a copy of a ''Dragonlance'' book. He finished his first novel at 16, which he describes as dreadful. He received his big break when Margaret Weis (one of the most prestigious authors in the ''Dragonlance'' series) sent out an open call for submissions to an online site. The submissions, if accepted, would be used in an anthology of sorts. Chris had his first story accepted. Matt Stawicki (born in Delaware) is a professional illustrator best known for providing cover art for science fiction and fantasy novels. Career His work has also been used for videogame covers, collectible card images, collectors plates and fantasy pocket knives. He claims the work of Maxfield Parrish, N.C. Wyeth, Norman Rockwell as his traditional influences. Working mainly in "digital art, digital paint" he is also influenced by the visual worlds created by Walt Disney, George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. Trail Of The Black Wyrm
''Trail of the Black Wyrm'' is a fantasy novel set in the Dragonlance campaign series and is the second of a trilogy about Taladas. The third book in the trilogy is ''Shadow of the Flame''. Plot introduction The setting is in Taladas, although it's generally in the jungles of Neron and the Imperial League. Plot summary Shedara, Forlo, and Hult, prepare to leave Coldhope Keep, but are attacked by shadow-fiends. The shadow-fiends outnumber them, and are losing as well as badly injured. Luckily, Eldako shows up and manages to kill the rest of the shadow-fiends. They decide to stay in Coldhope Keep until they recover. Later, the Fourth Legion of the Imperial League arrives, intent on arresting Forlo for desertion. Forlo claims he didn't desert, but they are still determined to arrest.
