"Black Friday" is a song by British singer-songwriter Tom Odell. It was released on 22 September 2023 as the lead single from his sixth studio album of the same title. Upon release, it reached number 21 on the UK Singles Chart and number 6 on the Irish Singles Chart. In 2024, it was remixed by Belgian producer Lost Frequencies under the title "Black Friday (Pretty Like the Sun)", achieving commercial success globally. It is featured in the Netflix TV show “Heartstopper” season three. Thomas Peter Odell (born 24 November 1990) is an English singer-songwriter. He released his debut extended play, ''Songs from Another Love'', in 2012. He won the 2013 BRIT Awards, BRITs Critics' Choice Award in early 2013. Odell's debut studio album, ''Long Way Down (Tom Odell album), Long Way Down'', was issued on 24 June 2013.
