''Bits and Pieces'', originally ''Il cielo è sempre più blu'', is a 1996 Italian comedy-drama film directed by Antonello Grimaldi. The title of the film is a reference to a song by Rino Gaetano. Antonio Luigi Grimaldi, known as Antonello Grimaldi (born 14 August 1955) is an Italian actor, film director, film and television director, and screenwriter. Biography Grimaldi was born on 14 August 1955 in Sassari on the island of Sardinia in Italy. After receiving his Laurea in law in 1981, he moved to Rome and attended the Gaumont School of Cinema, founded by producer Renzo Rossellini (producer), Renzo Rossellini. He later taught music history at the Accademia di Belle Arti () in Sassari and film direction at the Scuola Golden in Turin. Sergio Rubini (born 21 December 1959) is an Italian actor, film director and screenwriter. Life and career Rubini was born in Grumo Appula, Apulia, but soon moved to Rome to study acting.
