''Bird'' is a 2024 drama film written and directed by Andrea Arnold and starring Nykiya Adams, Barry Keoghan, and Franz Rogowski. The film had its world premiere at the 77th Cannes Film Festival on 16 May 2024. The film was theatrically released in the United States and the United Kingdom by Mubi on 8 November 2024. Andrea Patricia Arnold OBE (born 5 April 1961) is an English filmmaker and former actress. She won an Academy Award for her short film ''Wasp'' in 2005. Bean is a village and civil parish in the Borough of Dartford, Kent, England. It is located 4.4 miles south east of Dartford and 5.4 miles south west of Gravesend. In 2011 the parish had a population of 1643. The Area The parish is bounded on the north by the A2 road (the Roman Watling Street), and on the other three sides by ancient woodlands.
