Billy The Artist
Billy the Artist (BTA), (December 15, 1964 – January 22, 2022) real name William Theodore Johann Miller, was an American artist and writer based in East Village, Manhattan, whose rise to prominence came when he created the ceiling murals for ''RENT''. He also was the artist behind ''Moo York Celebration'', one of the cows behind the Cow Parade public art project and subsequently created cows for other cities' projects. East Village, Manhattan
The East Village is a neighborhood on the East Side of Lower Manhattan in New York City. It is roughly defined as the area east of the Bowery and Third Avenue, between 14th Street on the north and Houston Street on the south.
