The Big River is a perennial stream, perennial river of the Snowy River catchment, located in the East Gippsland region of the Australian state of Victoria (Australia), Victoria. Course and features The Big River rises below Big Tree Hill within the Errinundra National Park, and flows generally westerly, joined by the Saint Patricks River, before reaching its confluence with the Brodribb River, in remote country southwest of the locality of Malinns in the Shire of East Gippsland. The river descends over its watercourse, course. The Drainage divide, catchment area of the river is administered by the East Gippsland Catchment Management Authority. Big Rivers Regional Trail is a paved rail trail that overlooks the confluence of the Minnesota and Mississippi rivers along the northern edge of Dakota County, Minnesota, United States. It runs between the cities of Eagan and Lilydale. The trail also links to the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area, hundreds of miles of trails throughout the greater Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area, and historic landmarks including Fort Snelling, Pike Island and the city of Mendota, one of Minnesota's oldest settlements. Big Rivers is a grape growing zone in Australia. It covers the southwestern corner of the state of New South Wales. The zone currently includes four wine regions, which cover the main areas of grape growing in the zone, but not all of them. The four regions in the Big Rivers zone are Murray Darling, Perricoota, Riverina and Swan Hill. The Murray Darling and Swan Hill regions span the state border (the Murray River), and are partly in Big Rivers zone in New South Wales, and partly in the North West Victoria zone of Victoria.
