Big Brother Mzansi Season 1
''Big Brother Mzansi: Secrets'' (also known as ''Big Brother Mzansi 1'' or ''Big Brother South Africa 3'') was the third season of the South African ''Big Brother'' reality television series reboot produced by Endemol for M-Net. It began on 2 February 2014 with an original host, Mark Pilgrim. The season was sponsored by South African drink brand service, Coca-Cola. This season also use some of the game mechanics from the '' Secret Story'' franchise. Housemates Iris She entered the Chamber on Day 1. She was up for eviction in Week 1 where the housemates in Main House would vote for the chambermate of their choice to enter the Main House she only received 2 votes. In Week 2, she was up for public vote to move to the Main House according to the popularity vote she was in second place but due to the expulsion of Mbali who was the frontrunner Iris moved in the Main House with 25% of public vote. Mzansi Magic
Mzansi Magic is a South African digital satellite and general entertainment channel created by Multichoice and run by M-Net's local interest division, and is broadcast on DStv. History The channel launched in mid-July 2010 on channel 107 as M-Net's platform to boost local production and showcase entertainment in South Africa. Through the channels development, M-Net would engage with local producers, partnering with South African filmmakers to create gripping content with universal appeal while empowering new and upcoming talent and ensuring that key skills are transferred to the industry. The channel launched with a six-hour programming block with a mix original local series and international movies. It was headed by film veteran Lebone Maema. The channel began broadcasting in HD on the 24th July 2015. ''Big Brother Canada'' is a Canadian television reality game show based on the Dutch reality show of the same name, which is part of the wider '' Big Brother'' franchise. Soweto () is a township of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality in Gauteng, South Africa, bordering the city's mining belt in the south. Ermelo, Mpumalanga
Ermelo () is the educational, industrial and commercial town of the 7,750 km2 Gert Sibande District Municipality in Mpumalanga province, Republic of South Africa. It is both a mixed agriculture and mining region. It is located 210 km east of Johannesburg. History Some of the earliest inhabitants of the area were the Leghoya people. Not much is known about them, but ruins of their settlements dating back to c.1400 can be found in the area. Aliwal North (officially Maletswai) is a town in central South Africa on the banks of the Orange River, Eastern Cape Province. It is a medium-sized commercial centre in the northernmost part of the Eastern Cape. History Sir Harry Smith, then Governor of the Cape Colony, formally founded the small town of Aliwal North in the Cape Province of South Africa in 1850. He named the town "Aliwal North" in memory of his victory over the Sikhs at the Battle of Aliwal during the First Sikh War in India in 1846. Mitchells Plain is a large township located within the City of Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa and situated about from the Cape Town city centre.
