Big Bad Wolves (2006 Film)
''Big Bad Wolves'' (, ''Mi mefakhed mehaze'ev hara'', direct translation: "Who's afraid of the bad wolf") is a 2013 Israeli black comedy horror-thriller film written and directed by Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado, produced by Tami Leon and by Moshe and Leon Edry through their banner. The film focuses on the story of three Israeli adults who abduct a young school teacher in order to torture and interrogate him about the murder and rape case of a young girl in the woods. The film was the official selection of Tribeca Film Festival and premiered in the festival on April 21, 2013. The film was released on August 15, 2013 in Israel and received mostly positive reviews across Israel, the United States, and other countries worldwide and was screened in various other film festivals, mainly for its humor, screenwriting, direction, torture scenes, acting and originality. Aharon Keshales
Aharon Keshales (; born 16 April 1976) is an Israeli film director, screenwriter, and film critic. Biography Keshales was born in Jaffa, Israel, to a Sephardic Jewish family. He grew up in Bat Yam, Israel. He served as a soldier in the Intelligence Corps of the Israel Defense Forces. Then studied at the Tel Aviv University's film school, where he later became a lecturer until completing his graduate degree in the interdisciplinary program at the Faculty of Arts. At the same time, Keshales worked as film critic for Ynet, ''Globes'', and '' Rating Magazine''; and also created the film blog "Piranha Karina". Dov Glickman (; born 22 December 1949) is an Israeli film, television and theatre actor. Biography Dov Glickman was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, to a Hiloni, secular Jewish family. His History of the Jews in Russia, Russian Jewish parents Shlomo and Dvora Aliyah, immigrated to the Land of Israel in the 1920s.
