Shchuchinsk ( kz, Щучинск, ''Şuchinsk''; russian: Щучинск, ) is a city in northern-central Kazakhstan, located 75 kilometres south-east of Kokshetau on Lake Shchuchye. It is the seat of Burabay District (form. Shchuchinsk District) in Akmola Region and is the centre of a large agricultural area. Geography Shchuchinsk is located at the feet of the Kokshetau Massif, in the Kokshetau Hills, northern part of the Kazakh Uplands. Burabay spa town lies nearby to the northeast. Johanna Puff (born July 2, 2002, in Rosenheim) is a German biathlete. She won several medals with German relay teams at the Junior World Championships. Career She started her youth career for SC Bayrischzell and is trained by Andreas Birnbacher at the Ruhpolding base in the Chiemgau Arena. Puff appeared internationally for the first time in 2020 as a participant in the Youth Olympic Winter Games, where she narrowly missed out on medals with fifth place in the individual and fourth place in the sprint. Ten days later she took part in the youth category at the Junior World Championships in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, where she won bronze in the relay. Selina Grotian (born 25 March 2004) is a German biathlete. She won multiple gold medals at youth and junior world championships in 2022 and 2023, respectively. In the 2023 European Championships in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, she won the gold medal in the pursuit race.
