Bhilwara District is a district of the States and territories of India, state of Rajasthan in western India. The city of Bhilwara is the district headquarters. History Stone Age tools dating from 5,000 to 200,000 years were found in Bundi district, Bundi and Bhilwara districts of the state. Banera
Banera is a town and tehsil located in the Bhilwara district in the state of Rajasthan in India. It is one of the 12 tehsils of the Bhilwara district. As recorded in Census of India 2011, Bhilwara district came into existence in 1949, which constituted with Banera & Badnor chief ship of Mewar State and merger of Mandalgarh & Shahpura Thikana. Jahazpur
Jahazpur is a historical town and a municipality in Bhilwara district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is also the tehsil headquarters of the Jahazpur tehsil. It is known for the Jain temple swastidham, built around the Jahazpur fort. History According to a legend, the fort of Jahazpur was originally built by Samprati, grandson of the Mauryan emperor Ashoka, who was a follower of Jainism. Mandalgarh
Mandalgarh is a town with municipality in Bhilwara district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Pincode of Mandalgarh is 311604. It is the tehsil headquarters of Mandalgarh tehsil. History The place was taken twice by Mahmud Khilji of Malwa in the middle of the fifteenth century, and subsequently appears to have belonged alternately to the Ranas of Mewar and the Mughal emperors. In or about 1650, Emperor Shah Jahan granted it in Jagir to Raja Roop Singh of Kishangarh, who partially built a palace there, but Rana Raj Singh retook it in 1660. Gulabpura
