Beyond The Horizon (play)
''Beyond the Horizon'' is a play written by American playwright Eugene O'Neill. Although he first copyrighted the text in June 1918, O'Neill continued to revise the play throughout the rehearsals for its 1920 premiere. His first full-length work to be staged, ''Beyond the Horizon'' won the 1920 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Productions ''Beyond the Horizon'' premiered on Broadway at the Morosco Theatre, from February 3, 1920 to February 20, 1920, transferred to the Criterion Theatre from February 24, 1920 to March 5, 1920, and finally transferred to the Little Theatre, from March 9, 1920 to June 26, 1920. Eugene O'Neill
Eugene Gladstone O'Neill (October 16, 1888 – November 27, 1953) was an American playwright. His poetically titled plays were among the first to introduce into the U.S. the drama techniques of Realism (theatre), realism, earlier associated with Anton Chekhov, Chekhov, Henrik Ibsen, Ibsen, and August Strindberg, Strindberg. The tragedy ''Long Day's Journey into Night'' is often included on lists of the finest U.S. plays in the 20th century, alongside Tennessee Williams's ''A Streetcar Named Desire (play), A Streetcar Named Desire'' and Arthur Miller's ''Death of a Salesman''. Nicolas Flagello
Nicolas Oreste Flagello (March 15, 1928 – March 16, 1994) was an American composer and conductor of classical music. He was one of the last American composers to develop a distinctive mode of expression based wholly on the principles and techniques of late romanticism. Life Flagello was born in New York City, into a musical family. (His brother Ezio Flagello was a bass who sang at the Metropolitan Opera). He began studying composition with Vittorio Giannini, with whom he continued to study at the Manhattan School of Music. Upon graduating (M.M., 1950) he joined the faculty, where he remained for more than 25 years. James Joseph Broderick III (March 7, 1927November 1, 1982) was an American actor.
