Better With U Tour
The Better with U Tour was the second concert tour by American boy band Big Time Rush. Visiting the United States and Canada, the tour supported the band's second studio album, '' Elevate''. Background The band announced the tour November 2011, on ''On Air with Ryan Seacrest''. The group stated the tour would be bigger, moving from the festival circuit, playing theaters and auditoriums. The tour also marks the band's first shows in Canada. The tour became a huge success, with shows selling out in seven major markets: Boston, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Detroit, New York City, Raleigh and Sacramento and the tour sold out in ten minutes. The band also played two festival shows, the Houston Rodeo and Mardi Gras at Universal Studios. Big Time Rush (group)
Big Time Rush is an American pop music boy band formed in 2009. The group is composed of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos PenaVega. They initially signed with Nick Records in 2009 and then transferred to Columbia Records. The group starred as a fictional version of themselves in Nickelodeon's television series of the same name. The show ran from November 28, 2009, to July 25, 2013. The pilot episode featured the group's first promotional single, "Big Time Rush". Thriii (pronounced "three") is an American girl group that was formed in 2005 by the sisters China Anne McClain, Sierra McClain, and Lauryn McClain. The group was also known as 3mcclaingirls in 2005–2009, McClain Sisters in 2010–2014 and just McClain in 2014–2015. All three sisters starred in the film ''Daddy's Little Girls'' (2007), for which they released the single "Daddy's Girl". Sacramento Memorial Auditorium
The Sacramento Memorial Auditorium is a historic auditorium located in Sacramento, California. Completed in 1926, the Auditorium opened in February, 1927. The building was constructed as a memorial to Sacramento County veterans of the Spanish-American War and World War I. A list of the county's war dead from those two conflicts can be found in the building's foyer, above the entry into the auditorium. Several plaques inside and outside the building honor military veterans, and etched on either side of the front entrance into the building are the words: "This building is dedicated to those who made the supreme sacrifice in the service of the United States." Closed in 1986 due to seismic concerns, the building fell into disrepair, and re-opened in 1996, after renovation, as part of the Sacramento Convention Center Complex.
