Benjamin Toniutti
Benjamin Toniutti (born 30 October 1989) is a French professional volleyball player who plays as a setter for and captains both the Polish club Jastrzębski Węgiel and the France national team. Toniutti won a gold medal in the men's tournament at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, and is the 2015 European Champion and the 2021 Champions League winner with ZAKSA. Personal life Toniutti was born and raised in Alsace by his father Maurizio, an Italian French, and French mother Cathy. His parents often travel to attend Toniutti's league matches. Norbert Huber (born 14 August 1998) is a Polish professional volleyball player who plays as a middle blocker for Wolfdogs Nagoya and the Poland national team. Career Club In 2017, he signed a contract with Cerrad Czarni Radom and made his debut in the Polish PlusLiga. National team On 10 September 2016, Huber and his national team won the U20 European Champions title after winning 7 out of 7 matches in the tournament, and beating Ukraine in the final. On 2 July 2017, Poland, including Huber, won the U21 World Champions title after beating Cuba in the final (3–0). His national team won 47 matches in a row and never lost. Tomasz Fornal
Tomasz Fornal (Polish pronunciation: ; born 31 August 1997) is a Polish professional volleyball player who plays as an outside hitter for Jastrzębski Węgiel and the Poland national team. Fornal won silver medals at the 2024 Summer Olympics and the 2022 World Championship as well as the 2021 Polish Champion title with Jastrzębski Węgiel. Marcin Janusz (born 31 July 1994) is a Polish professional volleyball player who plays as a setter for ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle and the Poland men's national volleyball team, Poland national team. PlusLiga
The PlusLiga is the highest level of men's volleyball in Poland, a professional league competition featuring volleyball clubs located in this country. It is overseen by Polska Liga Siatkówki SA (PLS SA). It is currently a 14 teams league from October to April/May. The regular season is followed by playoffs, with the winner earning the Polish Championship (). It is one of the best volleyball leagues in Europe, being highly ranked in the international competitions. The league in its current form was founded in 2000 and was originally known as Polska Liga Siatkówki ''(Polish Volleyball League)''. Luiz Felipe Marques Fonteles (born 19 June 1984) is a Brazilian volleyball player, member of the Brazil men's national volleyball team in 2005–2016 and currently plays for Japanese team, JTEKT Stings, on club level. He is the 2016 Olympic Champion, silver medallist of the 2014 World Championship, two–time South American Champion (2005, 2013) and gold medallist of the 2011 Pan American Games. György Grozer
György Grozer (born 27 November 1984), also known as Georg Grozer, is a German professional volleyball player of Hungarian origin who plays as an opposite spiker for Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie and the Germany national team. Personal life Grozer was born in Budapest, Hungary. His father, György Grozer Senior is a former volleyball player and coach. With his first wife Violetta he has two daughters – Leana (born 2007) and Loreen (born 2010). Career Club He was crowned national champion on two occasions, in 2009 and 2010, while playing for VfB Friedrichshafen.
