Bert Davis
Bert Davis (11 August 1906 – 1981) was an English footballer who played as a winger for Guiseley, Bradford Park Avenue, Sunderland, Leicester City and Crystal Palace. He was born in Bradford. Club career Davis began his professional career at Bradford Park Avenue where he helped them win the Third Division North title in his first season in 1928 and also scored the winner in a famous FA Cup upset of Derby County in 1930. Davis left Bradford in 1932 and made his debut for Sunderland on 27 August in a 3–2 win against Manchester City at Roker Park. He helped Sunderland become league champions in the 1935–36 season, but was ousted his position by Len Duns Leonard Duns (28 September 1916 – 29 April 1989) was an English footballer who played for Sunderland as outside right. The 2010 California lieutenant gubernatorial election was held on November 2, 2010 to choose the Lieutenant Governor of California. The primary election was held on June 8, 2010. Incumbent Republican Lieutenant Governor Abel Maldonado, who was appointed to the office, ran for election to a full term and was defeated by Democratic Mayor Gavin Newsom of San Francisco. ''Just Another Missing Kid'' is a 1981 Canadian documentary film, directed by John Zaritsky, about the search for a missing Ottawa teenager. Summary Eric Wilson had left his native Ottawa in July 1978 in a Volkswagen camper on a trip to Boulder, Colorado. Somewhere in Nebraska he disappeared. The movie traces how his family and a private investigator work to find out what had happened.
