Bernard De Aldona
Bernardo Vitorino Fernandes (25 March 1946 – 6 July 1983), known professionally as Bernard de Aldona, was an Indian composer, singer, theatre actor, and playwright who worked on the Konkani stage. Early life Bernardo Vitorino Fernandes was born on 25 March 1946 in Aldona, Goa, which was part of Portuguese India during the Portuguese Empire (now in India). He was born to João Celestino Fernandes and the farmer Ana Felicia Rosaria Fernandes, into a Goan Catholic family. Career Fernandes was a composer known for his morally uplifting songs, which garnered admiration from audiences. Two of his most memorable compositions include "Uddon Gelem" and "Hatan Dile Dandde." Aldona
Aldona (or Aldonã) is a village that lies in the Bardez taluka of the Indian coastal state of Goa. It is known for producing several prominent Goans personalities. Tiatr Academy Of Goa
The Tiatr Academy of Goa (TAG) is a government body established by the Government of Goa in 2009 during the tenure of Digambar Kamat as the Chief Minister of Goa. Goans (Konkani in the Roman script, Romi Konkani: , ) is the demonym used to describe the people native to Goa, India, formerly part of Portuguese India (''Estado Português da Índia''). ''The Navhind Times'' is an English language newspaper in Goa. Founded in 1963 and based in Panaji, the capital of Goa, it is the largest selling newspaper, amongst the three locally published English newspapers in the state. The other two being'' O Heraldo (The Herald)'' and ''Gomantak Times'' successively. According to the newspaper, it has a 52% of overall share market of advertisement space in Goa. Francis Diogo Romano de Mello (3 March 1908 – 30 September 1976), known professionally as Dioguinho D'Mello, was an Indian writer, singer, playwright, and sailor known for his work in ''tiatr'' productions.
