The Institute for Applied Economic Research ( Portuguese: ''Instituto de Pesquisa Econômica Aplicada'', Ipea) is a Brazilian government-led research organization dedicated to generating macroeconomical, sectorial and thematic studies in order to base government planning and policy-making. It equally supports the federal government in the formulation and evaluation of public policy. The Institute is headquartered in Brasília and has a regional office in Rio de Janeiro. The Berkeley Group Holdings plc is a British Real estate development, property developer and Home construction, house-builder based in Cobham, Surrey, Cobham, England. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index. The firm was founded in 1976 by Tony Pidgley and Jim Farrer as ''Berkeley Homes'' after departing Crest Nicholson, Crest Homes.
