Ben Richards (actor)
Ben Richards (born 27 March 1972 in West Sussex, England) is a British stage and television actor and dancer. Richards studied dance from an early age and later took part in theatre. He gained supporting roles in London's West End and gradually filled the role of the lead. After small roles in two films, Richards began his television career with guest roles in various British serials. In 2005, he joined the regular cast of the ITV drama '' Footballers' Wives'' and after the series ended he resumed theatre work. Richards went on to secure roles in ''Holby City'' and ''The Bill''. While working on the latter, Richards said that he would always pursue his career in theatre, which he did after leaving. In 2015, he joined the cast of the soap opera ''Hollyoaks'' as Ben Bradley and remained as a regular for a year. He then returned to stage roles in the West End. Ben Richards (born 1964) is a British screenwriter and novelist. He was the lead writer on ''Spooks'' and is the writer/creator of ''Party Animals, Outcasts, COBRA'' and ''Showtrial''. He also created ''The Tunnel'' from the Scandinavian original of “The Bridge” as well as adapting “The Cuckoo's Calling, ''The Cuckoo’s Calling''," the first in J. K. Rowling, Robert Galbraith’s ''Strike'' series for BBC1. Benjamin Wood Richards (November 12, 1797 – July 12, 1851) was an American politician who served as the 59th mayor of Philadelphia in 1829 and a second time from 1830 to 1832. Early life and education Richards was born in Batsto, New Jersey, on November 12, 1797, to Magaretta (Wood) and William Richards. In 1815, he graduated from Princeton University. Career In 1819, he established Richards & Bispham, which became the largest commission house in Philadelphia. He served on the Philadelphia City Council and in 1827, served as a member of the Pennsylvania Legislature. He was a proponent of the common school system and served on the first Board of Control of Public Schools for Philadelphia. François-Marie-Benjamin Richard de la Vergne (; 1 March 1819 – 27 January 1908) was a French cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church and served as the Archbishop of Paris. His cause of beatification has commenced and he has the title of Servant of God. Biography Early life and priesthood François-Marie-Benjamin Richard was born in 1819 in Nantes and was one of eleven children. Richard was educated at the seminary of St Sulpice where he studied theology from October 1841. He was ordained to the priesthood on 21 December 1844 by the Archbishop of Paris Denis Auguste Affre. He served as a parish priest from 1845 to 1846 before he was sent to Rome for further studies that spanned from 1846 to 1849. He was later made the Vicar-General of Nantes on 1 August 1850 and occupied that post until 1869. Episcopate Pope Pius IX appointed Richard as the Bishop of Belley on 22 December 1871.
