Hall is an American politician who served as a member of the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission from the 5th district, covering all of Catron, Doña Ana, Grant, Hidalgo, Luna, Sierra, and Valencia Counties and parts of Lincoln, Otero, Socorro, and Torrance Counties. Education Hall graduated from Ruidoso High School and attended New Mexico Western College for one semester. Career He served three terms in the New Mexico House of Representatives and two terms on the Lincoln County Commission. For forty years, he owned and operated a general building construction company. In 2010, Hall entered the race for Public Regulation Commissioner from the 5th district, seeking to succeed Sandy R. Jones, a Democrat. New Mexico Public Regulation Commission
The New Mexico Public Regulation Commission RCis a regulatory authority in New Mexico charged with the responsibility of seeing that utility customers have "fair and reasonable rates, and to assure reasonable and adequate services to the public as provided by law." The PRC regulates the insurance industry in New Mexico through its Division of Insurance, appointing an Insurance Superintendent who is a PRC employee having independent statutory powers. The PRC also has responsibility for motor carrier regulation, the State Fire Marshal's Office, the Firefighter Training Academy, Pipeline Safety and the registration of all corporations and limited liability companies doing business in New Mexico. Torrance County is a county located in the center of the U.S. state of New Mexico. As of the 2010 census, the population was 16,383. The county seat is Estancia. Bill McCamley is an American politician who served as the secretary of the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions from 2019 to 2021. Previously, he served as a Democratic member of the New Mexico House of Representatives from 2013 to 2018.
