Redcliffe Railway Station
Redcliffe railway station (officially Redcliffe Station) is a station for underground commuter rail services in Redcliffe, east of Perth, Western Australia. The station is one of three stations that were built as part of the Forrestfield–Airport Link project and is served by Transperth's Airport line services. The contract for the Forrestfield–Airport Link, which consists of of twin bored tunnels and three new stations, was awarded to Salini Impregilo and NRW Pty Ltd in April 2016. Construction on Redcliffe station began. Forward works, which included the permanent closure of Brearley Avenue between Great Eastern Highway and Dunreath Drive, began in 2016. Construction began in mid-2017, and by June 2018, excavation was complete. The two tunnel boring machines (TBMs) reached the station in mid-2019, having tunnelled from High Wycombe, and left tunnelling towards Bayswater after several weeks of maintenance. Belmont railway station was a station on the Hutt Valley Line section of the Wairarapa Line until 28 February 1954, when the Melling-Belmont section of the line on the western side of the Hutt Valley, New Zealand was closed and the through line to Upper Hutt and the Wairarapa rerouted through the centre of the valley. The station was opened on 15 December 1875, along with the Haywards railway station (now called Manor Park Railway Station). It was 10.22 miles from Wellington, and 54 feet in altitude. Belmont Railway Station (Harrow)
Belmont was a station in Belmont, north-west London on the Stanmore branch line. It was opened on 12 September 1932 by the London, Midland and Scottish Railway as the only intermediate station on a short branch line (opened in 1890) running north from Harrow & Wealdstone to Stanmore, in anticipation of the Metropolitan Railway opening its own branch line to a new Stanmore station (now served by the Jubilee line) the same year. Belmont station was rebuilt with a central island platform and a passing loop. The rebuilt station opened on 5 July 1937. The station was located on the north side of Kenton Lane to the west of Belmont Circle. From the perspective of the branch line, the connection to the main line was north-facing, i.e. away from central London. Hence the branch line could not take direct commuter services from the city, limiting its operation to a shuttle service. Belmont railway station serves the village of Belmont in the London Borough of Sutton in south London. The station is located on the Epsom Downs line and is in Travelcard Zone 5. It is down the line from measured via West Croydon. It is the closest station to the Royal Marsden Hospital, which is just under half a mile away. History The station was opened by the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway on 22 May 1865, as part of the Epsom Downs branch line. The branch was originally laid as double track because of the race traffic, and was electrified on 17 June 1928. A modern CLASP (pre-fabricated concrete) building was erected in the 1970s (this has since been demolished and cleared away). The branch was singled in 1982 and all trains use the former down platform. The Up platform still exists however. Belmont is an 'L' station on the CTA's Blue Line. The station is located at Belmont and Kimball Avenues in the Avondale neighborhood. From Belmont, trains run at intervals of 2–7 minutes during rush hours, and take 16 minutes to reach the Loop. History Belmont station opened in 1970 as part of an extension of the West-Northwest route to Jefferson Park on the Kennedy Expressway. Belmont is an 'L' station serving the CTA's Red and Brown Lines, and the Purple Line Express during weekday rush hours. It is located at 945 West Belmont Avenue in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. It is an elevated station with two island platforms serving four tracks; Brown and Purple Line trains share the outer tracks while Red Line trains run on the inner tracks. Along with residential areas, the neighborhood surrounding Belmont contains many eclectic shops, bars, and restaurants and active nightlife. The station is one of the more heavily utilized on the system serving as a busy transfer point, and also as a terminal when the Brown Line operates as a shuttle service to and from late at night and early in the morning. Belmont is a railway station on Metra’s BNSF Line located on the outskirts of Downers Grove, Illinois in the small community of Belmont. The station is on Belmont Road from Union Station, the east end of the line. As of 2018, Belmont is the 25th busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 1,408 weekday boardings. Like Downers Grove Main Street, Belmont has connections to both Pace Buses, and the Village's own Grove Commuter Shuttle.
