''Belle (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)'' is the soundtrack accompanying the 2013 film '' Belle'' directed by Amma Asante. The film's score is composed by Rachel Portman and released through Varèse Sarabande on 6 May 2014. Development ''Belle''s original score is composed by Rachel Portman who recalled on not sentimentally overdoing with the film's music. Her involvement was confirmed in May 2013, and the recording of the film's music being held at the Angel Recording Studios in London, and the Smecky Music Studios in Prague, with an 88-piece orchestra from the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra members performing. Marek Elznic, Jaromir Klepac, Zdenek "Bruce" Zindel and Lucie Svehlova were featured as the soloists. The musical score was released through Varèse Sarabande on 6 May 2014. Rachel Mary Berkeley Portman (born 11 December 1960)), a collection of original pieces for piano, violin and cello, with Portman playing the piano. In 2023 she released a second album ''Beyond the Screen – Film Works on Piano'' which features some of her most cherished film music for solo piano. Other recent works include ''Tipping Points'', a violin concerto performed by Niklas Leipe with WDR Orchestra Germany. Academy Award For Best Original Score
The Academy Award for Best Original Score is an award presented annually by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) to the best substantial body of music in the form of dramatic underscoring written specifically for the film by the submitting composer. Some pre-existing music is allowed, though, but a contending film must include a minimum of original music. This minimum since 2021 is established as 35% of the music, which is raised to 80% for sequels and franchise films. Fifteen scores are shortlisted before nominations are announced. Angel Recording Studios Limited (also referred to as Angel Studios) is a British recording studio based in the eponymous recording and mixing complex in Islington, London. The company was incorporated by James Warren Sylvester de Wolfe on 5 December 1978. After ownership of the property transferred to third parties, the facility was closed at the end of 2019 and, after a transfer of ownership to Abbey Road Studios reopened in 2022.
