Beijing International Film Festival
The Beijing International Film Festival (), abbreviated BJIFF, is a film festival in Beijing, China. Founded in 2011, along with the Shanghai International Film Festival, it is one of China's two biggest film festivals. The festival is one of the world's most prominent film festivals. Since its launch, it has been heavily attended by Hollywood executives, directors, producers, and studio heads, as well as filmmakers and actors from all over the world. It serves as an international venue for different cultures around the globe to communicate. The festival has two in-competition sections. The Tiantan Award Competition aims is to promote diversity in world cinema, and the Forward Future Competition aims to highlight first second features. As China's box office has expanded exponentially over the past decade, the festival aims to provide a high-profile forum for the interaction between the Chinese and the international film industries. Kathleen Kennedy (film Producer)
Kathleen Kennedy (born June 5, 1953) is an American film producer who has been president of Lucasfilm since 2012. In 1981, Kennedy co-founded the production company Amblin Entertainment with Steven Spielberg and her eventual husband Frank Marshall. Her first film as a producer was '' E.T.'' (1982). A decade later, again with Spielberg, she produced the ''Jurassic Park'' franchise, the first two of which became two of the top ten highest-grossing films of the 1990s. Peter Del Vecho
Peter Del Vecho (born April 6, 1958) is an American film producer at Walt Disney Animation Studios, where he is also senior vice president of production. He is best known for producing '' Frozen'' ( accolades) and '' Frozen II'' together with directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee. Early life Del Vecho grew up in the city of Quincy, in the South Shore area just outside Boston, Massachusetts.
