Before Sunset
''Before Sunset'' is a 2004 American romantic drama film directed by Richard Linklater, who co-wrote the screenplay with Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy, from a story by Linklater and Kim Krizan. It is the first film by Warner Independent Pictures. The sequel to ''Before Sunrise'' (1995) and the second installment in the ''Before'' trilogy, ''Before Sunset'' follows Jesse (Hawke) and Céline (Delpy) as they reunite nine years later in Paris. Linklater, Krizan, Hawke, and Delpy began developing a larger budget sequel in the 1990s, but failed to secure funding to begin production. Gael Baudino (born 1955) is a contemporary American fantasy author who also writes under the pseudonyms of Gael Kathryns, Gael A. Kathryns, K.M. Tonso, and G.A. Kathryns. She attended college at the University of Southern California. Sometime before 1994 she converted from Dianic Wicca and became a Society of Friends, Quaker. Anna Todd
Anna Renee Todd (born March 20, 1989) is an American author, film producer, and screenwriter. She is best known for writing the book series ''After'', which she started publishing on the social storytelling platform Wattpad. The print edition of the series was published by Gallery Books, and has been translated into several languages. In 2018, Todd went on to open her own production company, Frayed Pages. "Before" is a song by English synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys, released on 22 April 1996 as the lead single from their sixth studio album, ''Bilingual'' (1996). Upon its release, the single peaked at number seven on the UK Singles Chart, number four in Finland, and number one in Hungary. In the United States, it topped the ''Billboard'' Hot Dance Club Play chart. Background and recording "Before" was written and recorded in New York City in June 1995. Pet Shop Boys' intention was to make a song for the American market. Their original plan was to work with David Morales, but he canceled after the studio had been booked. Danny Tenaglia agreed to produce the track on short notice. Barbara Tucker, Karen Bernod, and Carole Sylvan sang backing vocals, and Peter Daou played keyboards. Lyricist Neil Tennant described "Before" as a love song and "a song of encouragement". The ''Before'' Trilogy consists of three American romance films directed by Richard Linklater, and starring Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy.
