Beebe Steven Lynk
Beebe Steven Lynk (1872–1948) served as the professor of medical Latin botany and materia medica at the University of West Tennessee. She was an active member of the early black women's club movement, authoring a book, '' Advice to Colored Women'' in 1896. Early life and education Lynk was born in Mason, Tennessee, on October 24, 1872. She was the daughter of Henderson Stevens and Jule Ann (Boyce) Stevens. She earned a degree from Lane College in Jackson, Tennessee, in 1892 at the age of 20. While it is known that her graduation was in 1892, it is unknown if she attended school early or if the degree she completed was only 2 years long. Although it is unknown when Beebe started her college career, it is known that the degree she obtained was a bachelor's degree from Lane College. Gilbert Wheeler Beebe (April 3, 1912 – March 3, 2003) was an American epidemiologist and statistician who performed studies of radiation-related mortality and morbidity among those exposed to the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the Chernobyl reactor accident. Richard Beebe
Richard Paul Beebe (December 5, 1929 – August 29, 1998) was an American radio personality who was on the air for five decades in Los Angeles and won two Golden Mike Awards. A journalist at KRLA 1110, he became a founding member of The Credibility Gap. His experience and wit were key to most versions of the group. He became the link between the original and more famous later lineups when we was joined by Harry Shearer, David L. Lander, and Michael McKean, all much younger than he. He left the Gap in 1975. Some of their early work can be heard at The Paley Center for Media in Los Angeles and New York City. Beebe performed the voice of Dewey Phillips on the ''Pop Chronicles'' documentary. Marjorie Eileen Beebe (October 9, 1908 – May 9, 1983) was an American film actress. Early years Beebe was born on October 9, 1909. She graduated from Hollywood High School. Career Beebe tired of working as an assistant in a magician's show, so she went to Hollywood to become an actress. She was rejected by several casting directors before she found work for one day at FBO Pictures Corporation. Three months of additional searching resulted in a job at Universal Pictures, where she stayed nine months, appearing in minor roles. In 1927, she began longer employment at Fox Film. She was a star in Mack Sennett films. Personal life Beebe married broker Clinton E. Randall in Yuma, Arizona, in May 1934; the marriage was annulled in Los Angeles on July 29, 1935, after Beebe told the judge that she had to sell her automobile for money to support Randall. Lucius Morris Beebe (December 9, 1902 – February 4, 1966) was an American writer, gourmand, photographer, railroad historian, journalist, and syndicated columnist. Early life and education Beebe was born in Wakefield, Massachusetts, to a prominent Boston family. He attended both Harvard University and Yale University, where he contributed to the campus newspaper, ''Harvard Crimson'', and the humor magazine, ''The Yale Record''. During his tenures at boarding school and university, Beebe was known for his numerous pranks. One of his more outrageous stunts included an attempt at festooning J. P. Morgan's yacht '' Corsair III'' with toilet paper from a chartered airplane. His pranks were not without consequence, and he proudly noted that he had the sole distinction of having been expelled from both Harvard and Yale, at the insistence, respectively, of the president and dean. Lottie Polozola Beebe, sometimes known as Lottie Beebe-Pearson (born October 1953), is the former superintendent of public schools in St. Martin Parish, Louisiana. In September 2018, the St. Martin Parish School Board declined to renew Beebe's contract as superintendent, but she showed up for work the next day on the advice of her lawyer, L. Lane Roy of Lafayette. Beebe claims the school board action is "illegal" and "political" in nature. He was selected by the Giants in the 24th round of the 1943 NFL draft after playing college football at Occidental College. John Beebe (born June 24, 1939) is an American psychiatrist and Jungian analyst in practice in San Francisco. Beebe was born in Washington, D.C. He received degrees from Harvard College and the University of Chicago medical school. He is a past president of the C. G. Jung Institute of San Francisco, where he is currently on the teaching faculty. He is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
