Roman Bednář (born 26 March 1983) is a Czech Republic, Czech association football, football coach and former player. Otta Bednářová
Otta Bednářová (née Šmirousová; 18 June 1927 – 5 September 2023) was a Czech journalist, writer, screenwriter, television producer and dissident during Czechoslovakia's communist era. She was an early Charter 77 signatory in 1976 and co-founded the Committee for the Defense of the Unjustly Prosecuted (VONS) in 1978. She was imprisoned for more than one year for her opposition to communist rule. Biography Bednářová was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia, on 18 June 1927, the eldest of three daughters of Otylie and Karel Šmirous. She was raised in the village of Všenory near Prague. The family moved to the Kobylisy district of Prague when she was ten years old. Jaroslav Bednář (born 9 November 1976) is a Czech professional ice hockey winger, who currently plays with HC Vrchlabí in the Czech.2 Liga Playing career Born in Prague, Czechoslovakia, Bednář began his career with Slavia Prague in 1994 and stayed there for three years before moving to rivals Sparta Prague. He played just 14 games before moving to Plzeň and then returned to play for Sparta for the next season. Jan Bednář (born 26 August 2002) is a Czech professional ice hockey goaltender for Ässät of the Finnish Liiga. Bednář was drafted 107th overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career During the 2018–19 Czech Extraliga season, Bednář made his professional debut for HC Karlovy Vary at the age of 16, becoming the youngest goaltender to play for Karlovy Vary. He recorded a 2.73 goals-against average (GAA) and .917 save percentage in 10 games. Eva Bednářová (8 May 1937 – 6 December 1986) was a Czech printmaker and illustrator. Born in Prague, Bednářová was a graduate of the University of Applied Arts in that city. Throughout her career she produced illustrations for more than 40 books over three decades. Her illustrations for ''Chinese Fairy Tales'' by Dana and Milada Šťovíčková won the Grand Prix at the Biennial of Illustration Bratislava in 1969. Kamil Bednář, also known by his pen name Prokop Kouba (4 July 1912 – 23 May 1972), was a Czech poet, translator, prose writer, dramatist and publishing house editor. Life Bednář was born in Prague. After 1931, he studied law, and then six years of philosophy in Charles University. After he finished his studies in 1939, he worked in the publishing house Melantrich, from 1949 in the publishing house '' Československý spisovatel''. Since 1959 he dedicated himself only to the literature. David Bednar (born 1952) is an American-born former theatre manager in Canada. He served as the general manager of the Canadian National Exhibition Association, which runs an annual fair called the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE). He retired in May 2015. Born in Dallas, Texas, Bednar was educated in theatre and business at Bishop's University in Quebec, initially working with summer theatre programs, such as Festival Lennoxville, the Canadian Mime Theatre and, later, Shaw Festival.
