Beatriz De Diá
The Comtessa de Dia (Countess of Die, Drôme, Die), possibly named Beatritz or Isoarda (fl. c. 1175 or c. 1212), was a trobairitz (female troubadour). She is only known as the ''comtessa de Dia'' in contemporary documents, but was most likely the daughter of Count Isoard II of Die, Drôme, Diá (a town northeast of Montelimar now known as Die, Drôme, Die in southern France). According to her ''Vida (Occitan literary form), vida'', she was married to William of Poitiers, but was in love with and sang about Raimbaut of Orange (1146-1173).Bruckner, Matilda Tomaryn. (1995). Die (; ; ) is a commune, a former episcopal see, and a subprefecture of the Drôme department in southeastern France. The region around Die is known as the Diois (; ). Die is perhaps best known for its sparkling wine '' Clairette de Die''. Irmtraud Morgner
Irmtraud Morgner (22 August 19336 May 1990) was a German writer, best known for works of magical realism concerned predominantly with the role of gender in East German society. Life Irmtraud Morgner was born in 1933 in Chemnitz, the daughter of a railroad engineer. She took her Abitur in 1952, before studying ''Germanistik'' (German studies) and Literary studies at Leipzig until 1956. She worked for the magazine ''neue deutsche literatur'' (New German Literature, a journal noted for a degree of confrontation with East German cultural policy) until 1958, after which she lived as a freelance author. Morgner's first marriage was to Joachim Schreck, later an editor at the publishers Aufbau-Verlag. She gave birth to a son in 1967. Morgner and Schreck were divorced in 1970. She was married again in 1972, to Paul Wiens, a fellow poet and author. Theocritus (; , ''Theokritos''; ; born 300 BC, died after 260 BC) was a Greek poet from Sicily, Magna Graecia, and the creator of Ancient Greek pastoral poetry. Life Little is known of Theocritus beyond what can be inferred from his writings. We must, however, handle these with some caution, since some of the poems ('' Idylls''; ) commonly attributed to him have little claim to authenticity.
