Beast From The East
''Beast from the East'' is a live album recorded by the American heavy metal band Dokken in Japan in April 1988, during tour in support of their album '' Back for the Attack''. It was released on November 7, 1988. The album features live versions of the band's most popular songs from previous four studio albums and also includes a new studio track entitled "Walk Away". The song was accompanied with a music video, which featured members of the band performing atop the Santa Monica Mountains overlooking Topanga Canyon and the Pacific Ocean. The album earned the band their only Grammy Award nomination for the Best Metal Performance in 1990, losing to Metallica's "One". "Dream Warriors" is a song by American band Dokken, that was written by members George Lynch and Jeff Pilson for the movie '' A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors''. The song was released as a single in 1987, charting at number 22 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, and was also released on Dokken's fourth album, '' Back for the Attack,'' as the closing track to that album''.'' Music video The music video used clips from the movie '' A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors'', and primarily featured actress Patricia Arquette, and Robert Englund in the role of Freddy Krueger. Monsters of Rock was a hard rock and heavy metal music festival. It was originally held annually in Castle Donington, England, from 1980 to 1996, taking place every year except 1989 and 1993. It later branched into other locations such as the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Sweden, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, the United States, and Russia.
