Bay View is a census-designated place (CDP) in Skagit County, Washington, United States. The population was 812 at the 2020 census. It is included in the Mount Vernon–Anacortes, Washington Metropolitan Statistical Area. History Bay View was named and plotted in 1884 by William J. McKenna. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.6 square miles (4.3 km2), all of it land. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there were 334 people, 161 households, and 95 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 203.0 people per square mile (78.2/km2). There were 168 housing units at an average density of 102.1/sq mi (39.3/km2).
