Battle Of The Buskers
''Battle of the Buskers'' () is a singing reality competition organized by Mediacorp Channel 8. The season premiered on its Mediacorp streaming website meWATCH and its YouTube channel on 23 July 2023, and the finals were held on 5 November 2023. The competition were held across 11 locations islandwide beginning at Hougang Central Hub and ending with CQ @ Clarke Quay Fountain Square. Musicians The ETC 闲杂人等, which consist of 46-year old Tristan Ong and 47-year old Joey Wee, were the winners of ''Battle of the Buskers''; 35-year old busker Evan Goh and friends T Junction 红绿灯, which consist of 30-year old Alina Mak and 28-year old Lim Jia Rui, finished as co-runners-up. Lee Teng (Singapore)
Lee Teng (born 30 May 1982) is a Taiwan-born Singaporean television host, businessman, radio deejay and occasional actor. Lee won the Top 10 Most Popular Male Artiste award and the Best Programme Host twice at the Star Awards. In 2017, he won an Asian Television Awards for Best Current Affairs Presenter. Early life Lee was born in Taiwan and went to Singapore when he was nine. He studied primary school in Singapore. He graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a degree in accountancy. Channel 8 (Singapore)
Channel 8 ( zh, 8頻道) is a Singaporean Mandarin-language free-to-air terrestrial television channel in Singapore, owned by state media conglomerate Mediacorp. The channel broadcasts general entertainment and news programming in the Mandarin language, including original and imported programming. The channel began a series of experimental broadcasts on 31 August 1963, and officially launched on 22 November 1963. As with its sister Channel 5, the channel would initially air programming in all four of Singapore's official languages, although having a particular focus on the Chinese and Tamil communities. YES 933
YES 933 is a Mandarin Chinese radio station in Singapore. Owned by the state-owned broadcaster Mediacorp, it primarily broadcasts a contemporary hit radio format focusing on Chinese and Korean pop music. Eric Ng (born 27 December 1975) is a Singaporean Mandarin pop music songwriter, music producer and music arranger, and session/touring guitarist. Hougang Mall (Simplified Chinese, Chinese: 后港购物坊), previously known as NTUC Hougang Mall, is a suburban shopping mall in Hougang, Singapore. It is near Hougang Central Bus Interchange, as well as Hougang MRT station. In 2006, the mall underwent renovation; it transformed part of the second level, formerly occupied by NTUC FairPrice, into a food cluster. The mall previously had renovations done on the fifth level. Before renovations, a food court stood on the fifth floor.
