Bathurst LXXV Football Club, commonly referred to as Bathurst 75, is an Australian amateur football club based in Bathurst, New South Wales. The club currently competes in Bathurst District Football junior and senior levels. The club was founded, hence its name, in 1975, with players like Archie Thompson, Nathan Burns and Rhyan Grant having played for the club at junior and senior levels. In the 2018 season, Bathurst 75 fielded over 320 players within 30 teams, in both juniors and seniors. Twenty non-competitive sides teams took part in the Small Sided (Grassroots - Aldi MiniRoos), alongside six junior competitive teams and four senior teams. Archie Thompson
Archie Gerald Thompson (born 23 October 1978) is an Australian former professional footballer. He also is serving as a club ambassador for Melbourne Victory FC. Born in New Zealand, Thompson played youth football at the New South Wales Institute of Sport before going on to play numerous seasons in the National Soccer League and A-League. After eleven seasons with Melbourne Victory, he moved on to play for Heidelberg United in 2016. Thompson also played overseas, for Belgian Pro League side Lierse and for Dutch Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven. Thompson has played over 50 times for Australia, scoring 28 goals. Nathan Burns (born 7 May 1988) is a retired Australian professional footballer who last played for Wellington Phoenix in the A-League and the Australian national team. Club career Adelaide United He formerly played for Parramatta Eagles and trained at the AIS. After a few substitute appearances for Adelaide United, Burns finally got his first start against Sydney FC scoring his first A-League goal in the 4–1 loss. Rhyan Bert Grant (born 26 February 1991) is an Australian professional football player who plays for A-League club Sydney FC and the Australia national team. Born in Canowindra, New South Wales, Grant played youth football at the Australian Institute of Sport before making his professional debut for Sydney FC in 2008. The Western Premier League is a regional Australian association football league, comprising teams from the Central West region of New South Wales. The competition is run under the Western NSW Football body, an associate of Football NSW - a member federation of Football Australia.
