Jef Martens (), better known by his stage name Basto (stylized as Basto!), is a Belgian record producer, musician and DJ. He primarily produces electro house music, and he is signed to the ARS label. He has produced using various aliases such as Bitch Boys, Candyman, Dirty Bunch, DJ Basik, Felix Project, Jin Sonic, Kings of Porn, and Lazy Jay. He was also a member of the Belgian dance group Lasgo. Martens co-produced with the band in 2009 and 2010 on a number of singles. He is best known for producing Azealia Banks' hit debut single "212" under the alias of Lazy Jay, together with his brother Toon. He also produced "Scream & Shout" for will.i.am and Britney Spears in 2012. Hoogstraten () is a municipality and city located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality comprises Hoogstraten, Meer, Meerle, Meersel-Dreef, Minderhout and Wortel (Meersel-Dreef includes the northernmost point in Belgium). Lasgo
Lasgo is a Belgian electronic music group. The group formed in 2000 and was composed of Peter Luts, Dave McCullen, and singer Evi Goffin. Peter Luts confirmed on Belgian radio in 2008 that Goffin was not returning to the group, after choosing to become a full-time mother. Luts announced around the same time that he was looking for a new vocalist for the group. Together with Belgian TV station JIMtv, he organized a televised search (in similar fashion to talent shows like '' Idol'') for a new vocalist, eventually choosing Jelle Van Dael as the singer. The group name came from McCullen suggesting something related to the United Kingdom, and creating Lasgo out of Glasgow in Scotland. Peter Luts (born 14 December 1971 in Heusden-Zolder) is a Belgian DJ, remixer and record producer. He is a member of the vocal trance act Lasgo and the producer behind the group AnnaGrace (formerly known as Ian Van Dahl). Luts, whose musical career began at age 12, has released various tracks under the aliases Astroline, Abnea, Heliac, Outrowz, Groovewatchers, and others, while working with Lasgo. He wrote and produced "Love Is the Message", which was the anthem of the 8th edition of the City Parade in 2005.
