Bass Anglers Sportsman Society
The Bass Anglers Sportsman Society (B.A.S.S.) is a fishing membership organization with more than a half a million members. It is geared toward bass fishermen, mainly in the United States but with members located worldwide. The society publishes ''Bassmaster'' magazine and other related publications, and also produces ''The Bassmasters'' weekly television program. B.A.S.S. is best known for the sport fishing tournament trails it conducts, and for its world championship event, the Bassmaster Classic. The society's logo is a blue shield with a leaping largemouth bass and the society's acronym. Rick Clunn
Rick Clunn (born July 24, 1946) is a professional bass fisherman. Biography Clunn was born July 24, 1946 in Missouri. He began fishing professionally in his 20's. Clunn has won the Bassmaster Classic tournament four times, in 1976, 1977, 1984, and 1990, tying him with Kevin Van Dam for the most Bassmaster Classic wins. Clunn is considered one of the best anglers of all time, having placed in the top 10 in over 100 tournaments, and winning seventeen of those. In 1988, he was voted Angler of the Year by the B.A.S.S. organization. In 2001, he was inducted into the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame. On February 12, 2019, Clunn beat his own record as the oldest angler to win a Bassmaster Elite Series event at 72 years old. Hank Parker
Hank Parker Sr. (born March 26, 1953) is an American professional bass fisherman. Parker is a native of Maiden, North Carolina. Fishing career In 1979 and 1989, Parker won two Bassmaster Classic tournaments, the biggest event in bass fishing. He is one of only five anglers to win the event more than once. Additionally, he was the first angler to win the Grand Slam of competitive bass fishing which includes the Classic, B.A.S.S. Angler of the Year in 1983, and B.A.S.S. SuperBass Tournament in April 1985. Hank finished in the money in 76% of B.A.S.S. tournaments he fished.
