''Barareh Nights'' ( fa, شبهای برره) is a 2005 Iranian satire television series broadcast by the IRIB network. The series ended after 92 episodes; the storyline of Barareh Nights was not complete. It aired in Iran daily at 8:00 p.m. Tehran time on Channel 3. Rebroadcast outside of the country was daily on IRIB 1 and IRIB 2. The last show episode aired Thursday 1 December 2005. It was directed by Mehran Modiri. Barareh Nights is the prequel to Mehran Modiri's 2002 serial, ''Pavarchin''. Whilst not taking place in Barareh, ''Pavarchin'' introduced the oddities and strange behaviours of Barareans. The series also has many of the cast members from Modiri's earlier works such as ''Pavarchin'', ''Noghtechin'', and '' Jayezeye Bozorg''. On Tiptoes
''On Tiptoes'' ( fa, پاورچین) is an Iranian television comedy serial. It was broadcast for the first time by the IRIB on Thursday 10 September 2002 until Thursday 10 January 2003. It could usually be seen every night at 8:00 p.m. Tehran time on Tehran TV, also known as Channel 5 in Iran. Later due to the popularity of the show, episodes were shown in syndication on various Iranian provincial channels as well as IRIB 1 & IRIB 2 for those living out of the country. It was directed by Mehran Modiri. Shabhaye Barareh is the prequel to On Tiptoes. Shabhaye Barareh is set in Barareh and describes Farhad's family more than fifty years ago. Mehran Modiri ( fa, مهران مدیری; born 7 April 1967) is an Iranian director, producer, actor, and singer. He is considered to be the leading artist in social satire in Iran. His various series, which have been broadcast through IRIB have set records in terms of viewership (an estimated 95% viewership when he is on-air), as well as make him a popular personality among the masses. His artistic career began in his teenage years acting in local plays. He then entered the world of radio and television in the early 1990s, actively writing scripts for and participating in various comedy skits during the annual Norooz comedy television shows broadcast by the IRIB. Hadi Kazemi ( fa, هادی کاظمی; b. 1976) is an Iranian actor, narrator, sculptor, painter and photographer. He is known for his roles as ''Nezam Du Barareh'' in comedy series ''Barareh Nights'', and ''Baba Shah'' in '' Bitter Coffee'', both television series directed by Mehran Modiri. Biography Hadi Kazemi is the second oldest of four brothers.
