Bangers And Mash (TV Series)
''Bangers and Mash'' (often ''Bangers & Mash'') is an English animated children's cartoon series originally broadcast on Children's ITV in 1989, and repeated until around 1993. The series consists of 25 five-minute episodes. A video game Bangers & Mash (video game), based on the show was published in 1992. Synopsis Bangers and Mash were two troublemaking chimpanzees, and through wanting to have fun, caused grief for others, namely making a mess or breaking something of importance, normally belonging to their parents (or Gran, who also lived with them). Like all the inhabitants of their island, they lived in a house built on top of a tree (their address being No. 3 Tree Street). Edward McLachlan
Edward Rolland McLachlan (22 April 1940 – 29 September 2024) was an English cartoonist and illustrator, mostly producing sketches of a surreal and humorous nature as well as occasional political cartoons. The magazine editor Richard Ingrams described him as "the Leicestershire Charles Addams". Biography McLachlan was born in Humberstone, Leicestershire, and studied at Wyggeston Grammar School for Boys, Wyggeston Grammar School and Leicester College of Art. Initially he worked for a small printing company, before his cartoons were accepted by ''Punch (magazine), Punch'' magazine. He became a regular contributor to the magazine, and then went freelance in 1965.
