Banff And Buchan (UK Parliament Constituency)
Banff and Buchan was a constituency of the House of Commons, located in the north-east of Scotland within the Aberdeenshire council area. It elected one Member of Parliament at least once every five years using the first-past-the-post system of voting. The seat was most recently held by David Duguid of the Scottish Conservatives from 2017; until then the Scottish National Party (SNP) had held the seat since 1987, with the then First Minister of Scotland Alex Salmond representing the seat until 2010 and Eilidh Whiteford until 2017. Further to the completion of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, the seat was subject to boundary changes which involved expansion into eastern parts of Moray. East (or Eastern) Aberdeenshire was a Scotland, Scottish county constituency of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom, House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom from 1868 to 1918 and from 1950 to 1983. It elected one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. Moray
Moray ( ; or ) is one of the 32 council areas of Scotland. It lies in the north-east of the country, with a coastline on the Moray Firth, and borders the council areas of Aberdeenshire and Highland.
