Band Of Sisters
''Band of Sisters'' is a 2012 documentary by director Mary Fishman that tells the story of U.S. women religious from the Second Vatican Council to 2010. The documentary claims that, more than most other Catholic organizations, U.S. women religious followed the "spirit" and "letter" of the church council, heeding its call to renewal and involving themselves with systemic change inside and outside the convent. Among the activities chronicled are the Santuario Sisterfarm (Boerne, Texas), Genesis Farm (Caldwell, New Jersey), CORE/El Centro in Milwaukee (Wisconsin), Mercy Housing, the Leadership Conference of Women Religious, and the Center for Earth Jurisprudence at Barry University. Miriam Cutler
Miriam Cutler is an American composer best known for her documentary film work. Life and career Cutler is a Los Angeles-based film composer, scoring and performing music for over 20 years. She began her musical career as songwriter and clarinet player with The New Miss Alice Stone Ladies Society Orchestra; she then joined the Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo as a clarinetist, and later founded the group Swingstreet. Due to her love of jazz, she has co-produced albums by the likes of Joe Williams, Nina Simone, Marlena Shaw, and Shirley Horn. In vitro fertilisation (IVF) is a process of fertilisation where an egg is combined with sperm in vitro ("in glass").
