Anubha Munjare (born 1967) is an Indian politician from Madhya Pradesh. She is a member of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly representing the Indian National Congress from Balaghat Assembly constituency in Balaghat district. She won the 2023 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly election. She is a member and general secretary of Madhya Pradesh congress committee. Early life and education Munjare was born in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh to Satyendra and Snehlata Verma. Her father was a police inspector in Madhya Pradesh police and mother was a housewife. Balaghat is a city and a municipality in Balaghat district, in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is the administrative headquarters of Balaghat District. Wainganga River flows beside the town. The nearest airport is Birsi (Gondia). The headquarters of the district was originally called "Burha" or "बूढ़ा". Later, however, this name fell into disuse and was replaced by "Balaghat", which was originally the name of the district only. Balaghat is known for its tile factories, rice mills and forests. 2018 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election
Elections to the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly were held on 28 November 2018 to elect members of the 230 constituencies in Madhya Pradesh. The election was a direct political battle between the Bhartiya Janta Party, BJP and the Indian National Congress, INC. One of the main centers of attraction was the contest between Congress heavy-weight Arun Yadav and the then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. There were 69 two-member constituencies and 149 single-member constituencies.
