Tomohisa Kuramitsu, better known by his stage name Baiyon, is a Japanese multimedia artist from Kyoto. .''Baiyon.com''. Baiyon uses graphical design and music in combination. In 1998, he began painting and making music, and later founded the Brain Escape Sandwich Recordings label. ''PixelJunk Eden'' is a video game developed by Q-Games for the PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows. The third game in the ''PixelJunk'' series, it was released on the PlayStation Store on July 31, 2008 worldwide. A demo of the game was released on July 25, 2008. The game features the work of Baiyon, an independent artist from Kyoto who was invited by the studio founder Dylan Cuthbert to design the graphics and soundtrack. Gameplay The player controls a "Grimp" (derived from the actions "grip" and "jump"), a small creature that maneuvers itself by jumping from and attaching itself to plant-like structures. The Grimp also has the abilities to swing itself from a silk-like tether for a short amount of time and spin while jumping. Using these abilities, the objective of the Grimp is to collect several objects called "Spectra" that are found in the game's stages (or "gardens"). D1 Recordings
D1 Recordings is an Irish independent techno record label founded in 1994 by Eamonn Doyle. It is named after the Dublin postcode in which it was located and has released music by artists from there and elsewhere. Ian Maleney wrote in ''The Irish Times'' in 2015 that "D1 is considered one of the most important chapters in recent Irish music history". History Doyle worked in the independent music business for 15 years. Around 1993 he and others set up a recording studio in the basement of the building he lived in at 147 Parnell Street in Dublin's north inner city. Some of that music was released on the Dead Elvis indie record label he co-founded and ran. Doyle became a DJ, then founded D1 Recordings in 1994. Media Molecule Ltd. is a British video game developer based in Guildford, Surrey. Founded in 2006 by Mark Healey, Alex Evans, David Smith, and Kareem Ettouney, Sony Computer Entertainment acquired the firm in 2010. It became part of SCE Worldwide Studios (now PlayStation Studios).
