Bahrain–Germany Relations
Bahrain–Germany relations have existed since 1972 and are described as "good" by the German Foreign Office. Germany enjoys a good reputation in the country of Bahrain, and the German economy in particular is highly regarded. History Bahrain became independent of the United Kingdom in 1971 and established diplomatic relations with the Federal Republic of Germany one year later. In 1986 the German embassy was opened in Manama. In 2008, Bahraini monarch Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa visited the German capital Berlin, and two years later, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Bundestag President Norbert Lammert visited Bahrain in return. During the Arab Spring, Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa visited Berlin in 2011 to review the events. In 2014, Bundestag Vice President Claudia Roth visited Bahrain. Economic relations The total volume of trade with Bahrain amounted to over 660 million euros in 2021, putting Bahrain in 92nd place in the ranking of German trading partners. ...

Bahrain Men's National Handball Team
The Bahrain national handball team is the national handball team of Bahrain and is controlled by the Bahrain Handball Federation. In May of 2021 Aron Kristjánsson returned to his position as head coach, taking over from Halldór Jóhann Sigfússon, who took over in 2020. In January of 2022 Bahrain made it to the final of the 2022 Asian Men's Handball Championship, getting to the final for the fifth time in seven tournaments. Michael Roth (handballer)
Michael Roth (born 15 February 1962) is a German former handball player who competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics. He was a member of the West German handball team which won the silver medal. Bahrain National Football Team
The Bahrain national football team ( ar, منتخب البحرين لكرة القدم) represents Bahrain in international football and is controlled by the Bahrain Football Association, which was founded in 1951 and joined FIFA in 1966. They have never reached the World Cup, but have twice come within one match of doing so. Bahrain won the FIFA's most improved team award in 2004, and finished fourth in the 2004 Asian Cup, beating Uzbekistan in the quarter-finals but losing to Japan in the semi-finals 4–3. Hans-Peter Briegel (born 11 October 1955) is a German former professional football player and manager who played as a defender or midfielder. One of the most popular German players in his days, Briegel's original sport was athletics, being successful in various events such as long jump (personal best: 7 metres 44 cm, aged 16), triple jump and specifically in heptathlon-forerunner pentathlon. Arabian Gulf University is a university in the city of Manama, in the Kingdom of Bahrain. It is accredited by the Ministry of Education, Bahrain, and governed by Gulf Cooperative Countries, and is a member of Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World.
