The mixed doubles badminton event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games was held from 10 to 15 April 2018 at the Carrara Sports and Leisure Centre on the Gold Coast, Australia. The defending gold medalists were Chris Adcock and Gabby Adcock of England. The athletes were drawn into straight knockout stage. The draw for the competition was conducted on 2 April 2018. Carrara Sports And Leisure Centre
Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre is a multi-purpose arena and sports facility located at Carrara, Queensland, Carrara on Queensland's Gold Coast, Queensland, Gold Coast in Australia, capable of seating 5,000 fans. The centre is located adjacent to the Carrara Indoor Stadium and forms a part of the Gold Coast Sports Precinct. Jessica Tan Wei Han (; born 16 July 1993) is a Singaporean badminton player. Together with Terry Hee, they won their first BWF World Tour title as a duo at the 2022 India Open. Tan along with Hee also won the gold medal in the mixed doubles event at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, a first for Singapore in that discipline at the Games. Emmanuel Yaw Donkor (born 13 January 1994) is a Ghanaian badminton player. He competed at the 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games.
