Bad Attitude (album)
''Bad Attitude'' is the fourth studio album by American singer Meat Loaf, released in November 1984. Recorded in Britain, it features two songs by Jim Steinman, both previously recorded, and a duet with Roger Daltrey. According to Meat Loaf's autobiography, he approached Steinman about writing the entire album, but waiting for new songs wound up taking so long that Meat Loaf recorded two previously released Steinman songs and moved on with other writers. The album concentrates more on the hard rock side of Meat Loaf, was a minor success around the globe and contained a few hit singles, the most successful being "Modern Girl". The US release in April 1985 from RCA Records features a slightly different track order as well as alternate mixes for some songs. This remixed version of the album was reissued on CD in the United States and Canada in 1993. The 30th anniversary remastered reissue by Cherry Red Records, released in 2014, contains only the original UK track order and mixes. ...

Simply Slang
Simply Slang is an American hard rock quartet, founded in 2002, and based in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Originally known as Deadline, the band later changed its name upon discovering another band using the same name. In 2004, Simply Slang issued its eponymous debut, ''Simply Slang'', through Platinum Realm Entertainment. Within a short time of its release, Simply Slang began to garner international attention, thanks in part to the band's strategy of offering free downloads of its songs online. This approach proved highly effective, as two tracks from their debut album, "Live 4 The Weekend" and "Angeline," became top downloads on music websites worldwide. In March 2005, Simply Slang achieved the No. 1 spot on the Heavy Rock Artist chart on MP3.com.au, Australia's leading music platform. Several weeks later, the band also claimed the No. 1 position on the Heavy Rock Album chart on the same website. Despite these achievements, the band's lack of financial success began to t ...

The House Of Blue Light
''The House of Blue Light'' is the twelfth studio album by English rock band Deep Purple, released on 12 January 1987 by Polydor Records. It was the second recording by the reformed Mark II line-up, and the sixth studio album overall by this formation of the band. Recording The album's creation was an exceedingly long and difficult process, which singer Ian Gillan compared to the recording of '' Who Do We Think We Are'' in Rome and Frankfurt. Gillan has remarked on how strained relations within the band compromised the album: "I look back at ''House Of Blue Light'', there are some good songs on that record, but there’s something missing in the overall album. I can’t feel the spirit of this band. I can see or hear five professionals doing their best, but it’s like a football team, it’s not functioning. It’s like 11 superstars that are playing on the same field but are not connected by the heart or by the spirit." Guitarist Ritchie Blackmore has said much of it was re-r ...

Critical reception ''Billboard Magazine'' praised the album for its "jaunty, up-tempo dance tunes" but noted that "Branigan still excels at shimmering tear jerker ballads like 'Never in a Million Years' and 'No Promise, No Guarantee'." In their review of the album, '' Cashbox'' noted that "Branigan rolled out some heavyweight producers who are known for delivering the goods," and that "this is one of the most solid efforts she has produced, ranging from the ba ...
