BT1 (BBR 2021)
BNT 1 () is a Bulgarian-language public television station founded in 1959. The headquarters are located in Sofia, Bulgaria. BNT 1 is run by Bulgarian National Television. History First trial broadcasts began on 7 November, broadcasting it on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm ( EET). When it was initially launched, the channel was called simply ''Bulgarian Television'' (''Българска телевизия''), as it was the only channel available. In high-definition television (HDTV) and video display technology, 1080i is a video display format with 1080 lines of vertical resolution and Interlaced video, interlaced scanning method. This format was once a standard in HDTV. It was particularly used for broadcast television because it can deliver high-resolution images without needing excessive bandwidth. This format is used in the SMPTE 292M standard. Definition The number "1080" in 1080i refers to the number of horizontal lines that make up the vertical resolution of the display. bTV Action is a Bulgarian man-based television channel. The channel, along with sports channel RING, bTV, bTV Comedy, bTV Cinema and bTV Story are part of bTV Media Group, owned by Central European Media Enterprises (CME). History In 1998 was launched the first Bulgarian ethereal television - TOP TV. Later the television extended its coverage, but it was shut off in 2004. The company was bought in 2005 and in 2006 the television started as CTN. One year later, in 2007, it was re-bought and re-branded to TV2.
