History Brandon Ebel and Michael Knott conceived the label as a joint venture, before Knott backed out. Prior to forming Tooth & Nail, Ebel worked for Frontline Records. Tooth & Nail's first album released was Wish for Eden's ''Pet the Fish.'' In 2002, the label bought out Takehold Records. In 2013, Brandon Ebel sold the Tooth & Nail music catalog to Capitol Christian Music Group (formerly EMI Christian Music Group) and bought back the 50% stake in Tooth & Nail formerly owned by EMI, making it an independent record label. It retained rights to all future releases with a new distributor, RED Distribution. Overview Eight Tooth & Nail-affiliated albums have been RIAA-certified as gold for sales of 500,000 or more copies. The label had one of its greatest successes when Underoath's '' Define the Great Line'' debuted at No. 2 on th ... Beech Factory Airport
Beech Factory Airport is a public use airport located five nautical miles (9 km) east of the central business district of Wichita, a city in Sedgwick County, Kansas, United States. It is privately owned by Beechcraft. Facilities and aircraft Beech Factory Airport covers an area of at an elevation of 1,408 feet (429 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 1/19 with a concrete surface measuring 8,000 by 100 feet (2,438 x 30 m). For the 12-month period ending May 13, 2008, the airport had 32,700 aircraft operations, an average of 89 per day: 86% general aviation and 14% military. At that time there were 77 aircraft based at this airport: 27% single-engine, 38% multi-engine, 13% jet and 22% military. Following the merger of the Cessna and Beechcraft employee flying clubs, Cessna's flying club has since moved from their previous base at Wichita Mid-Continental Airport to Beech Factory Airport. Broad Economic Categories
{{unref, date=May 2018 The Broad Economic Categories (BEC) is a three-digit classification, which groups transportable goods according to their main end use. It is most often used for the general economic analysis of international merchandise trade data. The BEC system is defined in terms of the Standard International Trade Classification system. The original BEC was published in 1971, and revised in 1976, 1986 and most recently in 1988. The top level categories of the BEC are as follows: * BEC-1: Food and beverages * BEC-2: Industrial supplies not elsewhere specified * BEC-3: Fuels and lubricants * BEC-4: Capital goods (except transport equipment), and parts and accessories thereof * BEC-5: Transport equipment and parts and accessories thereof * BEC-6: Consumer goods not elsewhere specified * BEC-7: Goods not elsewhere specified In 2007 a fourth revision is under discussion, including a possible extension of the BEC to include tradable services. Bose–Einstein Condensate
In condensed matter physics, a Bose–Einstein condensate (BEC) is a state of matter that is typically formed when a gas of bosons at very low Density, densities is cooled to temperatures very close to absolute zero#Relation with Bose–Einstein condensate, absolute zero, i.e. . Under such conditions, a large fraction of bosons occupy the lowest quantum state, at which microscopic Quantum mechanics, quantum-mechanical phenomena, particularly wave interference#Quantum interference, wavefunction interference, become apparent Macroscopic quantum phenomena, macroscopically. More generally, condensation refers to the appearance of macroscopic occupation of one or several states: for example, in BCS theory, a superconductor is a condensate of Cooper pairs. As such, condensation can be associated with phase transition, and the macroscopic occupation of the state is the order parameter. Bose–Einstein condensate was first predicted, generally, in 1924–1925 by Albert Einstein, credit ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

Binary Erasure Channel
In coding theory and information theory, a binary erasure channel (BEC) is a communications channel model. A transmitter sends a bit (a zero or a one), and the receiver either receives the bit correctly, or with some probability P_e receives a message that the bit was not received ("erased") . Definition A binary erasure channel with erasure probability P_e is a channel with binary input, ternary output, and probability of erasure P_e. That is, let X be the transmitted random variable with alphabet \. Let Y be the received variable with alphabet \, where \text is the erasure symbol. Then, the channel is characterized by the conditional probabilities: :\begin \operatorname X = 0 &= 1 - P_e \\ \operatorname X = 1 &= 0 \\ \operatorname X = 0 &= 0 \\ \operatorname X = 1 &= 1 - P_e \\ \operatorname X = 0 &= P_e \\ \operatorname X = 1 &= P_e \end Capacity The channel capacity of a BEC is 1-P_e, attained with a uniform distribution for X (i.e. half of the inputs ... Bibliothèque De L'École Des Chartes
A library is a collection of books, and possibly other materials and media, that is accessible for use by its members and members of allied institutions. Libraries provide physical (hard copies) or digital (soft copies) materials, and may be a physical location, a virtual space, or both. A library's collection normally includes printed materials which may be borrowed, and usually also includes a reference section of publications which may only be utilized inside the premises. Resources such as commercial releases of films, television programmes, other video recordings, radio, music and audio recordings may be available in many formats. These include DVDs, Blu-rays, CDs, cassettes, or other applicable formats such as microform. They may also provide access to information, music or other content held on bibliographic databases. In addition, some libraries offer creation stations for makers which offer access to a 3D printing station with a 3D scanner. Libraries can vary widely ... Battery Eliminator Circuit
In battery-powered equipment, a battery eliminator circuit (BEC) is an electronic voltage regulator used to power a subsystem at a different voltage without the need for a supplemental battery. BECs are commonly used in radio-controlled models, which need separate voltages to power the motor and the RC equipment. Radio-controlled (RC) models In an electric-powered radio-controlled model, the BEC is typically part of the electronic speed control (ESC). BEC allows such a model to carry only one battery (the motive power battery) instead of two (motive power, and a separate battery to operate the RC equipment). A BEC-equipped ESC meant for airplane use often incorporates a low-voltage-cutoff (LVC) circuit which can sense the voltage drop caused when the battery has little charge left. It then cuts the power to the 'drive' motor in order to provide the 'steering' servo(s) with enough power to be able to bring the model safely back to the operator. The power to the propeller is c ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |
