Anberlin
Anberlin is an American alternative rock band formed in Winter Haven, Florida, in 2002. Since the beginning of 2007, the band consists of lead vocalist Stephen Christian, guitarists Joseph Milligan and Christian McAlhaney, bassist Deon Rexroat, and drummer Nathan Young. Members of Anberlin originally formed a band under the name SaGoh 24/7 in 1998, releasing two studio albums before disbanding, with the members having a change in musical direction and name. Anberlin was formed in 2002; within a year of forming, they had signed with semi-independent record label Tooth & Nail Records and released their debut album, '' Blueprints for the Black Market''. In 2005, the band released their second album, '' Never Take Friendship Personal''. The band's third album, '' Cities'', was released in 2007, and became their first album to reach the top 20 of the ''Billboard'' 200, selling 34,000 copies in its debut week. New Surrender
''New Surrender'' is the fourth studio album by American alternative rock band Anberlin, released on September 30, 2008. It is the band's first album on a major label, after signing with Universal Republic Records on August 16, 2007. The album peaked at number 13 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and 5 on the ''Billboard'' Top Modern Rock / Alternative Albums chart. Anberlin went in to record their fourth album only twelve months after the 2007 release of their third, ''Cities''. The album was recorded at NRG Recording Studios in North Hollywood, California, in early 2008 by producer Neal Avron. ''Lowborn'' (stylized as ''lowborn'') is the seventh studio album by the American alternative rock band Anberlin. The album was scheduled for release on June 24, 2014, but was pushed back to July 22, 2014. This album was produced by the band. The album has been described by Stephen Christian as "eclectic and chaotic, just like a good Anberlin record should be." Critical reception ''Lowborn'' received positive reviews from music critics. ''Vital'' is the sixth studio album by American alternative rock band Anberlin which was released on October 16, 2012. Stephen Christian
Stephen Christian Arnold is an American singer and songwriter best known as the lead vocalist of the alternative rock band Anberlin, as well as the vocalist of his acoustic side-project Anchor & Braille. He and his bandmates started Anberlin in 2002, after the demise of their previous group, known as SaGoh 24/7. He is one of the main songwriters for Anberlin alongside Joseph Milligan, and with the band had released seven albums before their initial disbandment in 2014 and began working on an eighth album in 2020. Many of the albums in the Anberlin discography have peaked in the top ten on various ''Billboard'' charts. He founded the non-profit and humanitarian-oriented band Faceless International, and is the founder of Wood Water Records, the home of Anchor & Braille. ''Cities'' is the third studio album by American alternative rock band Anberlin, released on February 20, 2007. The songs "Godspeed" and "The Unwinding Cable Car" were released as singles with accompanying music videos. The album debuted at No. 19 on the ''Billboard'' 200. Production The band spent more than 40 days in the studio recording ''Cities'' and went back on tour on September 14 after listening to the finished work on the morning of September 13. "Feel Good Drag" (originally released as "The Feel Good Drag") is a song by American alternative rock band Anberlin. The song originally appeared on the band's second album '' Never Take Friendship Personal'' and was re-recorded for their fourth album, ''New Surrender''. "Feel Good Drag" became the first single from ''New Surrender'', which was the band's first album on major label Universal Republic. It was intended for release to American radio stations on August 18, 2008, however after a week-long delay it was released on August 26, 2008. It was released on May 6, 2003, barely a year after the band formed, and was the only album that was released with guitarist Joey Bruce in the band line-up. Anchor & Braille is the recording alias for American singer-songwriter Stephen Christian, known for fronting the alternative rock band Anberlin. Originally conceived as a side project for Christian, Anchor & Braille became his primary vehicle for releasing music after Anberlin's initial dissolution in 2014. Christian has described Anchor & Braille as a collaborative effort, having recorded with musicians such as Aaron Marsh of Copeland, Micah Tawlks, and Kevin Dailey of Civil Twilight. Acceptance (band)
Acceptance is an American pop punk band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1998.
