Azura, Numidia
Azura was an ancient ''civitas'' and bishopric in Roman North Africa. It remains only as Latin Catholic titular see. History Azura was one of many cities of sufficient importance in the Roman(-Berber) province of Numidia to become a suffragan. The town was located near present-day Henchir-Loulou (itself a former Roman city and bishopric, Rotaria), Algeria. Bishopric Azura did not send a representative to the Council of Nicaea nor Chalcedon. As a bishopric, Azura was represented by the Catholic bishop Victor at the Conference of Carthage (411), where the Catholics declared the schismatic Donatist bishops heretics. Its bishop Leporius was among the Catholic bishops whom the Arian king Huneric of the Vandal Kingdom summoned to Carthage in 484 and was then exiled, like most Catholics. Titular see The diocese of Azura was nominally restored in 1933 as Latin Titular bishopric of Azura (Latin = Curiate Italian) / Azuen(sis) (Latin adjective). It has had the following incumben ...

Two devices have been tested, which can generate 20 kilowatts of power. The test in Hawaii was connected to the municipal grid providing electricity to Hawaii for 18-months. According to the United States Department of Energy, this is the first time that a wave power generator has been officially verified to be supplying energy to a power grid in North America. It was verified by the University of Hawaii. The tests were at the Marine Corps Base Hawaii Wave Energy Test Site (WETS) on the north shore of Kaneohe Bay, Oahu. It was situated on the surface of a 30-meter-deep berth where it was monitored. This prototype (TRL 5/6) was developed bNor ...

Azura (religious Figure)
Azura (also Âzûra, Aclima, or Balbira) was the daughter of Adam and Eve, the twin of Abel, and both the wife and sister of Seth, as described in chapter 4 of the Book of Jubilees. In an effort to explain where Cain and Abel acquired wives, some traditional sources stated that each child of Adam and Eve was born with a twin who became their mate. Azura In Muslim tradition, Abel was born with a twin sister named Azura, and Cain with a twin sister named Aclima. Adam wished Cain to marry Abel's twin sister and Abel to marry Cain's. However, Cain wished to marry Aclima rather than Azura. Adam proposed to refer the question to God by means of a sacrifice, and God rejected Cain's sacrifice, signifying his disapproval of Cain's marriage to Aclima. Cain slew his brother in a fit of jealousy. Some sources in the Eastern Orthodox traditions give the name Azura to Cain's twin sister.Burrington, Gilbert.
