August Adolph von Hennings (19 July 1746, Pinneberg – 17 May 1826, Rantzau) was a politician, publicist and writer of the Age of Enlightenment, born in the Duchy of Holstein to a family of lawyers. August is the eighth month of the year in the Julian and Gregorian calendars, and the fifth of seven months to have a length of 31 days. Pinneberg (; Northern Low Saxon: ''Pinnbarg'') is a town in the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein in northern Germany. It is the capital of the district of Pinneberg and has a population of about 43,500 inhabitants. Pinneberg is located 18 km northwest of the city centre of Hamburg. The Duchy of Holstein (german: Herzogtum Holstein, da, Hertugdømmet Holsten) was the northernmost state of the Holy Roman Empire, located in the present German state of Schleswig-Holstein. It originated when King Christian I of Denmark had his County of Holstein-Rendsburg elevated to a duchy by Emperor Frederick III in 1474. Olaf Klose (13 January 1903 − 22 March 1987) was a German art historian and librarian. Life and career Born in Bad Doberan, Klose studied History, art history and North Germanic languages. In 1929 with the work ''Die Familienverhältnisse auf Island. Johann Albert Heinrich Reimarus (11 November 1729 – 6 June 1814) was a German physician, natural historian and economist.
