Atulya Ghosh
Atulya Ghosh (28 August 1904 – 18 April 1986) was a Bengali Indian politician.Bose, Anjali (editor), 1996/2004, ''Sansad Bangali Charitabhidhan'' (Biographical dictionary) Vol II, , pp8-9, He has been described as "a wise, scholarly and honest leader who was a superb political organizer. " Formative years He was born in a Kayastha Family on 28 August 1904. The family hailed from Jejur in Hooghly district. In the early 1920s, he quit studies to become a Congress ''khadi'' (hand spun cloth became a symbol of self-reliance) worker. He was a member first of the Calcutta and then Hooghly district Congress committees. During this period he also came in contact with Bhupendranath Dutta (brother of Narendranath Dutta, better known as Swami Vivekananda). According to his own admission in his autobiography ( Kashtokalpito) he was fully converted to the Gandhian mode of struggle by Vijay Modak, a well known philanthropist and Congress organizer of the Hooghly district. This is a list of all cricketers who have played in first-class, List A or Twenty20 matches for Bihar, mostly in the Ranji Trophy (FC), Vijay Hazare Trophy (LA), and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (T20) competitions. Seasons given are the first and last in which each player represented Bihar, but they may not have played in all the interim seasons and many played for other senior teams besides Bihar. Players in bold have played international cricket. Bihar made their senior debut in December 1936 when they joined the Ranji Trophy and played Bengal at the Rangers Ground in Calcutta. They took part in the Ranji Trophy every season from 1936/37 until 2003/04, but were then absent until November 2018 when they were reinstated as one of ten expansion teams. Atul Prasad Sen (; 20 October 1871 – 26 August 1934) was a Bengali composer, lyricist and singer, and also a lawyer, philanthropist, social worker, educationist and writer. Early life Atul Prasad Sen was born as the eldest child of Ram Prasad Sen and Hemanta Shashi, in a Vaidya family from the village Magor in South Bikrampur, Faridpur District, presently located in Bangladesh. Atul was born in his maternal uncle's house in Dhaka, following the custom at that time. His maternal grandfather Kali Narayan Gupta initiated Atul Prasad into music and devotional songs. Atul Prasad's mother later married Brahmo Samaj reformer Durga Mohan Das in June 1890. Initially Atul Prasad could not accept this marriage. In due course of time his relationship became very congenial with Durga Mohan and Hemanta Shashi. Atulya Nadheswarar Temple (அதுல்யநாதேஸ்வரர் கோயில்):ta:அறகண்டநல்லூர் அதுல்யநாதேஸ்வரர் கோயில் is a Hindu temple dedicated to the deity Shiva, located in Arakandanallur, Arakandanallur in Thirukoilur taluk, a town panchayat in Viluppuram district in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Shiva is worshipped as Atulya Nadheswarar, and is represented by the ''lingam''. His consort Parvati is depicted as Azhagiya Ponnazhagi. The presiding deity is revered in the 7th century Tamil Saiva canonical work, the ''Tevaram'', written by Tamil saint poets known as the Nayanars and classified as ''Paadal Petra Sthalam''. The temple complex covers two acres, built on a granite hill and it houses a seven tier gateway tower known as ''gopurams''.
