Miki Imai (; born 30 May 1975) is a Japanese former track and field athlete who competed in the high jump. Her personal best of , set in 2001, is the Japanese record for the event. She is also co-holder of the indoor national record of with Megumi Sato. Monica Iagăr (born 2 April 1973) is a Romanian athlete and politician who competed in high jump. Her personal best jump is 2.02 metres. In 2024, she was elected a member of the Chamber of Deputies for the Alliance for the Union of Romanians. She made her international debut in 1995 but went through a six-month suspension in 1996. Venelina Veneva-Mateeva (née ''Veneva,'' , born June 13, 1974, in Ruse) is a Bulgarian high jumper. Biography Talented at a young age, she jumped 1.93 metres indoor in 1990 to record a world best performance by a 15-year-old. She did not improve this result outdoor until 1995 (1.94 m). A disappointing 1996 season with a 29th place at the Olympic Games and 1.88 as season best was followed by a jump of 2.03 metres in 1998. Amewu Mensah (born 21 March 1977) is a German high jumper of Ghanaian descent. At the 1999 World Championships she reached the final, but failed to clear the opening height there. In June 2000 in Rehlingen she achieved a career best jump of 1.94 metres. Two months later she finished eighth at the 2000 Olympics, equalling her personal best result. She became German champion in 2000 and won her only national indoor medal in the same year, a silver medal. She represented the clubs TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen and OSC Berlin.
